Avantis Maintenance Window - System not available
Avantis, RapidTime, and Mobile Inventory systems will not be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m to allow for Regular System Maintenance.

An ‘Access request form’ is now available online via the Avantis Access Request. The form is to be completed for any new users that wish to gain access to the system. Once the ticket is submitted and approved, The Avantis Support Team will create a profile for the requesting users and assign a desk-top. Respective staff and supervisor(s) will be notified when a profile is activated.

June 21, 2018 Avantis upgraded to version 6

Avantis has been upgraded to the latest version. This upgrade includes updates to the Classic Client, Mobile Inventory, and RapidTime. It also includes the introduction of a new Web Client that you will be hearing more about in the coming months.

Q: Who do I contact if I need assistance in Avantis PRO?
A: Please email avantis@uwo.ca. This address forwards to a number of people involved in the process. Functional Specialists Michelle Knox and Daniel Trudgeon will respond to emails as they arrive.

Q: When I plan a work order, why doesn't the "Client" tab appear on some work orders?
A: The "Client" tab is a customized add-on for Western. For it to appear, you must use one of the work order templates on your desktop.  (It includes the tab and other important information automatically).
