FM - Obtaining Permission to access WROAMS

Access to WROAMS is controlled through what are called "Active Directory Permissions" groups. The different groups also help control what resources you can access once you are connected. Not everyone on Campus is granted access. In order to use FM resources, you need to be added to the FM Active Directory Group.

A new procedure was put in place in mid-March, 2020 because of the increased demand for service due to COVID-19 measures. To obtain the access please fill-in this ticket: ROAMS Access Request. We will forward your request to our AVP, Andrew Konowalchuk. If Andrew approves, we will forward the request to wts-cao@uwo.ca for processing.

Next Steps

Once you have permission to use WROAMS, you will need to install and run the Junos Pulse application.

The next time you use Junos Pulse, you may want to try the Quick Connect option.

If you only need some files that are on your shared 'Walter' drives (H:, J:, O:) then you can access Network Drives.

If you need to use software or other resources accessible on your office PC, then you need to make a Remote Desktop connection.

When you are all done, do not forget to Disconnect!
