Technology in SSB 2390

SSB 2390 (board room; Outlook calendar FM-SSB-2390-MeetingRoom)

  • New 86" HD LED screen.
  • Logitech premium PTZ Ultra-HD camera installed above the 86” display.
  • Nureva HDL300 powerful microphone and speaker.
  • Lenovo mini workstation with wireless keyboard/mouse installed behind the 86” display.
  • Display control panel installed on the left side of the 86" display.
  • ScreenBeam. Wireless connectivity to dispaly.

To turn the display on or off, use the wall mounted control on the left side of the display, then select the appropriate HDMI port you would like to use by pressing the Source button.

HDMI1 – In-room computer

HDMI2 ScreenBeam. Wireless connectivity to the display. For PC use the Windows Key W + K, and select ssb2347ScreenBeam, you will be prompted to enter a 4-digit number, type the number on the display and click on connect. To disconnect from the display press Windows Key + K again then click on disconnect.

If you would like to project and present (Zoom or Teams meeting) using the sound and video bar; install the ScreenBeam software located at O:\Business Ops _IT\Software\ScreenBeam, once installed, click on project and present, you will be prompted to enter a 4-digit number, type the number on the display and click on connect.

For Apple notebooks, iPhone or iPad follow the instruction on the ScreenBeam display. You would need to connect via Wi-Fi to ScreenBeam. Then mirror your display.

Jabra Pancast conferencing technology

  • Eight professional grade mics remove background noise to provide a more clear meeting experience for those in the room and those joining remotely.
  • Three new 13-megapixel cameras have been installed to provide a wall-to-wall field of view in the room.
  • A remote (that looks like a hockey puck) has buttons to mute/unmute, adjust volume and camera zoom, and automatically centre camera on the active speaker.

ScreenBeam

This allows users to wirelessly share and mark up content on the room display without requiring an app or a physical connection. Instructions to connect are shown on the default screen as soon as you turn on the TV

The outsource port to use this device should be in HDMI(1)!

This section explains how to connect(project only) a client device(Notebook – BYOD) to ScreenBeam 1100 Plus using Wi-Fi Miracast Protocol.

1) Select the ScreenBeam receiver name as shown on the TV display.


2) For Windows 10 or 11 | Select Connect from the Action Center by swiping from right or simultaneously pressing the Windows key and K key.


 3) Enter in the PIN on the screen if required. If the PIN code is not displayed. 

  • To disconnect press the Windows key and K key, then click on Disconnect.
